Jenna & Kyle’s Love Letter to Chicago Wedding

Jenna and Kyle’s love found its perfect stage in the heart of Chicago. Their traditional wedding day weaves a tapestry of timelessness, evoking both their classic love and the storied charm of the Second City.

The couple’s ceremony was held at Fourth Presbyterian Church, a gem among the city’s architectural wonders. Located in the heart of the Magnificent Mile, their grand ceremony exit onto Michigan Avenue makes for a picture-perfect first introduction as husband and wife.

For their reception, Theater on the Lake transformed into an ethereal space with an overarching black and white theme. Accented with subtle touches of gold and green, this aesthetic captured their subtle yet refined style. Modern elements — like clear ghost chairs and bold typographic fonts — intermingled seamlessly with the romantic ambiance crafted by chandeliers, string lighting and an abundance of greenery. Jenna, wearing a stunning bow-backed silk Mikado gown, and Kyle, resplendent in a sleek black tuxedo, presented an undeniable picture of elegance in this striking setting.

Jenna and Kyle’s day continued on as not just a wedding, but an all- encompassing celebration. Their spirited entourage, led by all 24 members of their large wedding party, certainly kept spirits high throughout the festivities. Following suit, their reception band, Orchestra 33, ensured the dance floor was alive all night with a blend of modern beats with nostalgic tunes.

From the skyline views at Theater on the Lake to Lou Malnati’s deep-dish pizza as the reception late night snack, Jenna and Kyle’s wedding script wasn’t just their love story but also a love letter to the city of Chicago.
