Tiffany & Joseph’s Fashionable, Magical Wedding at Cuneo Mansion
What started as two bashful introverts bumping into each other by chance – each involved in their own little hobbies and routines – grew into something much bigger than either of them could ever imagine. And so on a crisp October day, Tiffany and Joseph celebrated their union with a stunning wedding at Cuneo Mansion & Garden.
“If we could describe Tiffany and Joseph’s wedding with one word, it would be MAGIC,” says, Michelle Medina of NORA Events, who planned this stylish wedding. The grounds of Cuneo Mansion & Garden, a 19th-century Italian estate in Vernon Hills, made for the perfect romantic backdrop to their magical day.
Tiffany and Joseph met through a microbrewery enthusiast social group, where they became fast friends, bonding over cooking, coffee, board games, and a love for art and photography. On November 10th, 2018, at a friend’s potluck, Joseph reached for Tiffany’s hand, and later that evening, Tiffany sent Joseph a text, asking when he would like to go on our first date. From there on, it was a blur of fierce cooking sessions, coffee tastings, brewery dates, and movie marathons, building a friendship that would soon turn into a relationship that only continued to gain speed once they were introduced to each other’s family and made plans to live together.
The couple chose Cuneo Mansion & Gardens in Vernon Hills as the setting to host their special day. Surrounded by friends and family, they gathered in the garden for their ceremony, where guests were able to embrace the estate view. Tiffany and Joseph loved the old-world elegance of the Cuneo Mansion and the feeling it gave them of being in an Italian garden. The mansion museum allowed guests to learn about the history of the property and truly brought them back to the opulent era of the 19th century.
Every detail of their wedding day was inspired by the mansion’s design and purposely selected for Tiffany and Joseph. The beautiful Victorian lounge furniture for cocktail hour and vintage green etched glassware by Relics Rental perfectly elevated the overall design by Lake Zurich Floral.
Perhaps one of the most stunning details of the day was Tiffany’s custom gown, designed by her new sister-in-law, Sarah Varca of VARCA Bridal. Tiffany knew she wanted a gown that would be unexpectedly stunning and nontraditional. Varca’s “Vivienne” gown draped perfectly on Tiffany’s silhouette, and the green and champagne patterns added an unexpected take on traditional bridal fashion.
As the sun set over the enchanting grounds of Cuneo Mansion & Gardens, Tiffany and Joseph’s wedding day was the perfect blend of old-world elegance and the unique charm that defines their love story. From the timeless beauty of the venue to the personal touches that reflected their shared passions, every moment of their celebration was steeped in a sense of magic and wonder.
