Morgan & Michael’s Colorful Lake Geneva Wedding

The couple hosted a scenic ceremony where they exchanged vows beneath the shade of a tree on the lush grounds of Big Foot Country Club. For their reception venue, The Abbey Resort felt like a natural extension of their love for Lake Geneva. For Michael, Lake Geneva has always been special — it’s where his parents live and where he and Morgan spent countless summer weekends. The West Shore Pavilion at The Abbey Resort, with its airy white tent, offered the ideal blank canvas to bring their colorful wedding dreams to life.
While the venue reflected Michael’s memories of Lake Geneva, the vibrant florals paid tribute to Morgan’s Arizona roots. With this vision, Morgan and Michael’s reception was a masterpiece of color and texture. From the thoughtfully curated place settings to the cozy sitting area in front of the head table, every detail reflected the bride and her mother’s distinct vision for the day.
The couple’s reception was filled with touching moments, including a touching tribute to Morgan’s late father in the form of a sweets cart named “Barry’s Chocolate Bar.” The evening came alive as Morgan and Michael took to the dance floor for a beautifully choreographed first dance, setting the stage for a night filled with love, laughter and charming memories. From the heartfelt details to the contagious joy woven throughout, Morgan and Michael’s wedding was as vibrant as their love.
