Local Love – Delaney & Ross at Boulder Ridge Country Club
Delaney met Ross while visiting a friend in Wisconsin, and after discovering he was an avid Cubs fan, she decided he must be the one. It also helped that they loved spending time together. Delaney said she knew Ross was the perfect person for her when, “I realized I could be with him so often and never get tired of him. He was always making me laugh.”
The pair chose to marry in Delaney’s hometown and host their reception at the Boulder Ridge Country Club— a building Delaney’s father actually built when she was a child. The sentimental venue was the perfect choice for celebrating their love with their closest family and friends. Delaney and Ross’s Big Day was full of special family moments, from Delaney’s older brother playing a song he wrote for her to walk down the aisle to a memorable speech from the Bride’s father.
Their love for each other shone through every moment of their wedding day. “My favorite memory from the day was when Delaney started walking down the aisle toward me,” Ross recounted. They made sure to share their mutual love of the Cubs with their guests as well—featuring a Cubs-themed cake and welcome bags for out-of-town guests. When describing what truly made their wedding special, Delaney explained, “We were surrounded by so much love on that day and what could be better than that?”
