Justin & Seton’s Americana Elegance at the University Club of Chicago
Like a scene out of a Nancy Meyers film, Justin and Seton’s wedding at the University Club of Chicago was the epitome of collegiate Americana. With a black-tie dress code and gin martinis in hand, their celebration blended timeless elegance with a fun-loving spirit.
Although Justin and Seton met while living in Philadelphia, they both share Midwestern roots — Justin hails from Skokie, IL, and Seton from Green Bay, WI. With such strong ties to the region, their current home of Chicago was the perfect place to say “I do.”
The University Club of Chicago was more than just a beautiful venue for the couple—it was a second home to them. Joining the club was one of their first steps after moving to Chicago, and it quickly became a cornerstone in their lives together. Sharing this space with friends and family on their wedding day felt like a natural choice, offering an elegant backdrop that would continue to grow alongside them for years to come.
Justin and Seton’s first dance was one of the most unforgettable moments of the day. The couple took dance lessons in the months leading up to the wedding, mastering a choreographed routine to Nat King Cole’s “L-O-V-E.” The song, sweet and romantic, was also a nod to one of their favorite films, “The Parent Trap.” Following their performance, the Chicago Catz band took over, and the dance floor quickly filled, kicking off a lively celebration.
With touches like monogrammed matchbook favors and elegant calligraphy escort cards, every detail was personal and thoughtful. From grand gestures to intimate touches, Justin and Seton’s vision of a classic, timeless wedding came to life stunningly.
