Coming Up Roses for Joanna & Daniel
Joanna and Daniel’s love story began when they met at a wedding in 2018, where Daniel repeatedly told Joanna he was going to take her out on a date. And from that first date on, they embarked on a journey that led them to their own rose-filled wedding day. Coming from similar Polish upbringings, they embraced their similarities and nourished a strong connection that was meant to be.
When it came to choosing a venue, Alpine Banquets was the obvious choice. For 26 years, the bride’s parents ran the venue, so she virtually grew up there! So with this special place in her heart, she couldn’t imagine getting married anywhere else.
The overall theme of their wedding day was based on red roses, a symbol of love that held a special significance for the couple. The night of their engagement, Daniel surprised Joanna with an overflowing countertop of red roses and a bottle of champagne. Inspired by this gesture, the couple infused red rose thematics throughout their wedding decor. The rich red color and petal motifs were infused wherever possible, from centerpieces to the printed dance floor. Even their wedding cake had a rose-flavored filling, adding in a delicious bit of romance.
Beyond rose thematics, the couple’s shared Polish heritage was apparent throughout the wedding. Such elements included a traditional pre-ceremony family blessing at Joanna’s family home, Catholic ceremony and traditional Polish music and costume.
Joanna, Daniel and their guests danced the night away — surrounded by their culture and beauty of red roses. It was a romantic and unforgettable evening, and the perfect way to mark the start of their lifelong journey together.
