Set amidst the urban farm of Big Delicious Planet, this styled shoot — curated by Bristol Echeverria of Sustainable Soirées — proved that sustainability can be woven into a beautiful wedding. With mindful planning, locally sourced details, and a commitment to reducing waste, couples can create an unforgettable celebration — one that honors love and the future of our planet.
Taking place during the peak of summer, Big Delicious Planet’s urban farm provided a lush, organic setting. The tablescapes featured vibrant seasonal hues and natural elements, including rustic bowls brimming with sun-ripened tomatoes and bud vases filled with repurposed blooms. Hand-poured 100% beeswax candles flickered down the table’s center, casting a soft, intimate glow. Aligning with the shoot’s sustainable standards, every floral element was either harvested from the venue’s garden or salvaged to minimize waste.
By sourcing locally — from farm-fresh ingredients to handcrafted wedding attire — this shoot highlights how shopping close to home reduces carbon footprints, supports small businesses, and ensures that every element is as sustainable as it is stunning.
