Held at The Nordlof Center, the same theater where Jordan performed his first play, their ceremony was infused with emotion. To start, a video slideshow set the scene, concluding with a dramatic light-led entrance as Jordan and Michael descended from the upper seating area to the stage floor. Surrounded by floral arrangements crafted by Jordan himself, the couple exchanged vows while their families shared readings that honored their backgrounds.
After the curtain fell on the ceremony, the celebration continued at the Rockford Art Museum, where Jordan serves on the museum board. The newly renovated space was transformed into an artistic wonderland with tables adorned in a variety of floral designs — from towering arrangements to elegant compote styles. In a clever nod to their love of theater, each table number display honored a play the couple enjoyed. Guests found their seats using tickets labeled with the corresponding show titles. Pin spot lighting and a romantic glow from artificial candles enhanced the ambiance, creating an immersive and intimate atmosphere.
The evening unfolded with unforgettable surprises, including a dramatic dance floor reveal. A trellis structure draped in greenery framed the dance area, and as Jordan and Michael shared their first dance, disco balls descended, reflecting light in a dazzling display. It was a magical touch that set the tone for an epic celebration.
