Caroline & Jonathan’s Soaring Nightclub Wedding at 167 Events
Perched on the 17th floor of 167 Green, Caroline and Jonathan’s wedding was a soaring, style-soaked affair.
The celebration began with a one-of-a-kind ceremony setup on the venue’s rooftop terrace, where a diagonal mirrored aisle cut through lush green grass. At its center, Caroline and Jonathan stood hand in hand as guests gathered in an intimate, in-the-round layout to witness their vows.
Inside, the party continued as 167 Events transformed into “Club Ellis:” the couple’s take on their own black-tie nightclub. Swanky libations and standing ovations ensued, surrounded by oversized tinsel chandeliers and mirrored spheres that hovered above a bold, black-and-white striped dance floor. To match the setting, guests were encouraged to don their best red carpet looks, guided by a mood board from the couple. Caroline led the way in a hand-painted blush Ines Di Santo gown with opera gloves, later changing into an Alex Perry mini and glittering Berta legging boots. Jonathan matched her in a sleek tux, then stole the spotlight with a surprise cameo in the DJ booth.
As city lights sparkled through the glass walls, the couple was stunned when their friends burst into the reception in full Marvel superhero garb — a surprise orchestrated by the bride’s brother. With Caroline wielding a Captain America shield and Jonathan sporting the Avengers gauntlet, the two reveled in the joy of being surrounded by people who truly got them.
For all its playful energy, the evening never strayed far from sophistication. From impeccable food service to the boisterous 15-piece band, each moment unfolded like a scene from a perfectly cast film.
