Brie & Grant’s Handmade Garden Party Wedding at Ewing Manor
Brianna (“Brie”) and Grant’s wedding at Ewing Manor felt like stepping into a living painting. Framed by the villa’s European-style architecture, their celebration bloomed with whimsical garden party charm and high-fashion editorial flair.
Introduced by a mutual friend, Brie and Grant quickly bonded over a shared love of creativity, adventure and zest for life. Brie, an artist with flair, and Grant, an analytical numbers guy, embody the perfect right-brain/left-brain harmony.
Drawing inspiration from the brushstrokes of impressionist art, the couple filled their day with bold florals, vintage textures and painterly details. “As a painter myself, I wanted our wedding to be deeply personal and entirely handmade,” Brie shared. Family and friends helped grow and arrange the flowers, while Brie herself hand-painted the table linens, a mural backdrop and even a cornhole set. Nearly everything guests touched and saw was lovingly created by the bride or someone close to the couple.
With so many loved ones lending their time and talents, Brie and Grant’s wedding became a collective work of art. “When I think back, it’s the moments like painting with my husband’s family, writing vows together and laughing with my mom over stacks of thrifted dishes that stand out the most,” Brie said. “Creating something beautiful together — with and for the people we love — made our wedding special.”
As the sun set, Brie slipped into her mother’s wedding dress and guests enjoyed cookies baked by Grant’s aunt. From the day’s start to these sweet final bites, their wedding wasn’t just a love story, but an ode to all the hands and hearts that helped bring it to life.
