Avina & Nilesh’s Jazz-Age Celebration at Renaissance Schaumburg
With a ceremony beneath a cascading floral tree and a lavish, jazz-age-inspired reception that sparkled with style, Avina and Nilesh’s glamorous and traditional wedding weekend at Renaissance Schaumburg was a celebration to remember.
The couple’s own love story began at a wedding, when a simple “hello” sparked something special. “In a room full of celebration, we found something even more beautiful: each other,” said Avina.
The Renaissance Schaumburg Hotel made the perfect backdrop for all five of their wedding events. From rooftop Mehndi and Pithi events under the open sky to the warm ballrooms that hosted their Sangeet, ceremony and reception, everything was woven together in one elegant, easy-to-navigate space. “Having everything at one location allowed our guests to truly relax and immerse themselves in the celebration,” Avina shared.
For the ceremony, the couple leaned into nature and romance with a dreamy palette of pink, cream and gold. The focal point was a floral-draped Mandap designed to resemble a tree. Symbolizing shelter, blessings and family roots, it highlighted both their cultural heritage and their hopes for the future. Come reception time, the vibe shifted to full Gatsby-era glam. Think candlelight, gold accents, towering florals and a dance floor pulsing with energy. As the lighting turned moody and dramatic, guests were swept into a party that felt equal parts timeless and electric.
Avina and Nilesh pulled off something truly special: a Royal Rajasthani-inspired celebration that honored tradition, turned up the style and was magic, through and through.
