Anna and Mark’s wedding perfectly blended stylish sophistication with playful charm, bringing to life a European-inspired garden dinner party infused with a kiss of disco flair. From the moment guests arrived, the atmosphere felt light, colorful and joyful — a reflection of the optimism the couple felt about their big day.
The couple’s wedding day started with a Catholic ceremony at the stately Our Lady of Mt. Carmel in Lakeview. Anna, in a stunning Vivienne Westwood gown paired with a Toni Federici veil, was a grinning vision walking down the aisle towards her partner.
For the reception, the couple transformed Galleria Marchetti into the perfect blend of a garden party and a disco lounge. The Pavilion room and outdoor patio offered an indoor-outdoor setting that perfectly matched their vision, with fire pits and a brick pizza oven bringing warmth and a touch of Sicilian charm. Mark, using his film background, crafted a touching video recapping their years together, evoking both laughter and tears from everyone in the room. After heartfelt toasts and tributes, the celebration transitioned into a lively dance party, complete with busting moves underneath the shimmer of disco balls, and a late-night snack of pizza straight from the wood-fired oven.
From the pipe organ soundtrack of their ceremony to the heart-shaped swan ice sculpture at the reception, the couple’s day was steeped in tradition and personal touches. Intimate yet full of life, Anna and Mark’s wedding was a day where their love and personalities truly shone.
