Anda & Forest’s “Meet-Cute” Love Story

The story of Anda and Forest’s union stands as a refreshing reminder of life’s delightful surprises. Three years ago, on an ordinary sunny afternoon, their journey began in the most unique and humorous way.

“In the midst of our laughter, a hilarious mishap unfolded – I found myself accidentally tumbling out of my wheelchair. It sounds dramatic, but miraculously, no one was hurt,” shared Anda. “Laughter filled the air as we all embraced the sheer absurdity of the situation. My friend swiftly dialed her boyfriend for assistance, and that’s when Forest entered the scene.”

Forest came along with Anda’s friend’s boyfriend to assist Anda in getting back in her wheelchair. Like something straight out of a rom-com, Anda recalls, “As our eyes met, there was an instant recognition that went beyond the humorous chaos of the moment. It was as if the universe had orchestrated this meeting just for us.”

Three years later, Anda and Forest celebrated their serendipitous love story with a beautiful wedding. Anda and her bridesmaids got ready at Anda’s parent’s home and had a delightful “first look” with her bridal party, then with Forest. The bride stunned in a Lazaro silk satin French corset bodice ballgown from Bella Bianca Bridal Couture, while her bridesmaids glowed in dusty rose satin gowns.

After their wedding ceremony at St. Gertrude Catholic Church, a black-tie, adults-only celebration commenced at Renaissance Chicago North Shore in Northbrook. The ballroom was a vision in white, glowing with a surplus of candles. For their first dance, Forest swept Anda off her feet and held her standing for the special moment. The lively dancing continued throughout the night, keeping smiles on everyone’s faces.

Anda and Forest’s love story shows that the most beautiful connections are made in unexpected ways and that laughter can light the way to a memorable love story. And their wedding was the perfect celebration of such.
