This spectacular special event space that can accomodate up to 250 guests, located in the picturesque Lords Park. The elegant Pavilion features a Victorian banquet facility with hardwood floors, vaulted ceilings, picket doors, large windows with scenic park views, a covered wrap-around porch, and outdoor ceremony grounds with ponds, fountains and wooden bridge.

The 2 story Pavilion, built in 1898, is one of the city’s most valued historical landmarks. It is located at 100 Oakwood Boulevard in the beautiful historic Lords Park, a photographic 108 acre site. Available for use by groups of up to 250 people – 150 people on each level; prices vary according to size and rental terms.

This 108-acre regional park was first established in 1893 by the Lord family of Elgin, who purchased the farmland from Dr. Joseph Tefft and presented it to the City of Elgin to be used as a city park. This park has a wonderful history and is currently home to some of the area’s destination facilities with the Elgin Public Museum, the Lords Park Zoo, the historic Pavilion and the Lord’s Park Aquatic Center. This park offers numerous facilities in a picturesque setting of mature Hickory and Oak trees on rolling terrain.

"We LOVED having our wedding at Lords Park. The setting was a beautiful lake with tons of trees and flowers (already planted, so no extra charge). We had our ceremony outside near the lake, and the reception was held inside the pavilion. It is an historical building built in 1893. It is 2 levels. There were beautiful stained glass windows, and the paint and colors were amazing. The entire pavilion has a wrap-around porch. We needed very little extra decorations because the pavilion itself was so beautiful."
