Word quickly spread that Jim’s food wasn’t just delicious – it was filled with love and care. Armed with a Weber grill and a van, Blue Plate was born in 1983. More than 40 years later, Blue Plate still operates on the mantra “We Care More,” creating unforgettable dining experiences for Chicago couples, families, and companies.
