Under Stained Glass at St. James 1868
In this styled scene, centuries-old craftsmanship meets modern design to create an ambiance that feels lifted from a European chapel yet grounded in Milwaukee’s vibrant heart. For this shoot, St. James 1868’s dual spaces became the canvas for two distinct interpretations of romance. In The Abbey, a striking black-and-white checkered aisle draws the eye through soaring arches and past original Tiffany stained-glass windows, while candlelight and apple-green linens add freshness.
In The Hyde, the mood softens: lace linens, beaded chandeliers and blush-toned florals shape a more delicate atmosphere. To tie it all together, real couples stepped in as models, bringing genuine emotion and demonstrating that the venue isn’t only beautifully preserved but also ready to host new love stories for generations to come.
Every detail, from the candlelit candelabras to the dramatic T-shaped dance floor, was designed to come alive in a way that only real love can inspire.
