Local Love – Michelle & Jimmy at The Congress Plaza Hotel
Michelle and Jimmy went to the same high school and had mutual friends, but didn’t actually meet each other until they were in college. Once they met, they found that they complemented each other well and had so much fun together. Once they were engaged, they decided to take their time planning a wedding because they both had busy schedules and really wanted to enjoy their time being engaged. When their wedding day finally arrived, the couple was so excited!
Michelle got ready for the Big Day with her bridesmaids, just relaxing, primping, laughing and sharing a few cocktails. The pair chose to get married at Michelle’s family church and opted to wait until the ceremony to see each other. When Michelle and Jimmy finally saw each other in the church for the first time, they both shed a few tears of happiness. One of Jimmy’s favorite moments from their whole day was seeing Michelle come down the aisle for the first time. Michelle especially loved walking out of the church as husband and wife for the first time!
After their ceremony, Michelle and Jimmy took photos with their wedding party before joining guests for a reception at The Congress Plaza Hotel. Their traditional and elegant wedding reception featured a gold, rose gold and blush color palette with an abundance of flowers. The couple wowed guests with a choreographed first dance that they put a lot of time and practice into getting just right. They celebrated with two hundred guests, but the atmosphere felt intimate and sweet, thanks to the abundant love and happiness. “We remember taking a moment while seated at dinner to look around the room and relish in such a special moment,” Michelle shared. The day was truly a blissful celebration of love and commitment.
