On Exhibit by Events by Ambiance
Led by Events with Ambiance, this Designers’ Challenge team reimagined the wedding day as a living art installation. With its clean lines, contemporary architecture and natural light, Mosaic Venue became the perfect canvas for Branching Out Chicago, Events with Ambiance, Twinvites Design and ZAAN YI to bring a gallery-inspired vision to life.
like pigments lifted from nature or an old painting. Softly weathered yet expertly layered, the palette brought warmth to the venue’s contemporary architecture. That thread carried through every dimensional floral arrangement and staggered pedestal, creating a curated gallery experience.
The River North venue’s open, luminous space invited a design approach where negative space was as purposeful as each decorative placement. The faded fresco color palette of rust, ochre, vermilion, linen and cornflower felt aged and organic, A classical bust crowned in hydrangeas. A dessert table worthy of its own exhibition. Rust gauze brushed across sculptural pedestals like a painter’s palette. This is what it looks like when two people choose to celebrate their love as a work of art.
The atmosphere was designed to feel refined, immersive and quietly romantic. We wanted to create a sense of calm sophistication — where every element feels considered, but nothing feels overdone.
