Dana and Jared met online and quickly discovered a connection rooted in shared values, faith and a vision for the future. With Jared from Chicago and Dana from Los Angeles, their relationship only grew stronger through long distance and the continued choice to show up for each other.
Originally, they hadn’t planned on a wedding at all — just to quietly marry and the start of their life together. But the more they talked it through, the more they felt called to celebrate in a way that reflected something bigger than themselves. They chose Chicago, a city central to their story, so the people who mattered most could gather in a place that mattered, too.
Dana had always envisioned herself marrying in a church, and the ceremony at Agape Bible Fellowship honored that dream and the faith both she and Jared had grown up in. After the ceremony, guests made their way down the street to University Park Golf Club for the reception, a significant setting itself. Jared had spent years on those fairways with family and friends, and hosting the celebration so close to his parents’ home gave the evening a full-circle feeling, their past and future folding into the same place.
The reception space reflected exactly that — something bigger than a party. White florals climbed toward a draped ceiling, their monogram was carved in an ice luge and displayed into the dance floor beneath them. When they shared their first dance, sparks literally flew.
With a blend of timeless romance and Old Hollywood elegance, Dana and Jared’s wedding was a love letter to the classics, and the perfect start to their forever.
