Ashley & Vince’s Classic Pazzo’s Wedding
After 15 years together, Ashley and Vince knew exactly how they wanted to celebrate: a scene of classic luxury with Italian warmth woven throughout. At Pazzo’s Chicago, their wedding was filled with champagne toasts, dear friends pitching in as vendors and an elegance that will never go out of style.
The day started with Ashley and her girls getting ready at the downtown chic Pendry Chicago, while Vince and the guys gathered at Punky’s Pizza, the Italian restaurant Vince and his family own. Both crews were buzzing, the kind of energy that only comes from being surrounded by your favorite people.
Next, a traditional Catholic Mass took place at Our Lady of Holy Family, where generations of family lined the sacred halls to witness the exchange of vows. After the ceremony, their senior beagle, Jackson (a gift from Vince over a decade ago), joined the couple for portraits inside the church. Then, as they exited the cathedral to cheers, a fire truck was waiting outside, a tribute to Ashley’s late brother who’d served with that very crew. The couple wove such moments throughout the day, keeping family heart of it all.
For their reception, the stately marble architecture of Pazzo’s Chicago welcomed in Ashley and Vince’s 300 lively guests. Great food was a leading thread throughout the day, starting during cocktail hour, where everyone mingled with Shaw’s oysters in hand. Later in the evening, Ashley and Vince worked the room with platters full of Punky’s comfort specialties, personally making sure no one left hungry.
The couple’s appreciation for life’s finer things shone throughout the day. It was elegant, yes, but also etched with Ashley and Vince’s personality.
