Jess & Drew’s Classic Elegance at Wildman BT
Jess and Drew’s Wildman BT wedding was all about elegance and classic beauty. Complete with a white, ivory and navy color palette, the celebration transcended trends.
The couple met in January 2021 at a game night hosted by mutual friends. Their first date was outside, thanks to COVID-era dining protocols, and in negative 10-degree weather. The two soon knew that if they would make it through a two-hour dinner without either of them wanting to leave or complaining about the cold, then they were meant to be.
This couple describes themselves as the perfect example of “opposites attract.”Jess is the oldest child, Drew is the youngest. Jess is boisterous and talkative, Drew is more reserved and quiet. Jess is type A, Drew goes with the flow. And they complete each other perfectly.
On their wedding day, Jess and Drew radiated elegance and love against some of Chicago’s most iconic backdrops. The couple got ready and did their romantic first look at the timeless Chicago Athletic Association. Before the ceremony and reception at Wildman BT, the couple and their wedding party took photos at the Wrigley Building and Union Station, some of the most photographed wedding locations. In these photogenic moments leading up to their celebration, their smiles illuminated the winter urban landscape.
Jess walked down the aisle in a taffeta Jenny Yoo ballgown gown, escorted by both her father and mother. Once united at the altar, Jess and Drew exchanged heartfelt vows, promising to love and support each other in front of their closest family and friends.
Inside Wildman BT, the reception space was adorned with flickering candles and beautiful floral and greenery-filled centerpieces. The couple enlisted the masterful eye of Cresco Stems to bring their event to life. The vision included lots and lots of candles and white florals. Against the venue’s industrial backdrop, these florals added an organic and fresh air.
All in all, Jess and Drew’s wedding was one infused with timeless charm and a whole lot of love and laughter. From portraits in front of the Wrigley Building to Jess’s reception outfit change, a Chicago wedding doesn’t get better than this!
