Unbeknownst to them, Julie and Peter’s paths were intertwined before they even met. While Julie completed her dermatology residency at Northwestern, Peter began his JD-MBA journey at Northwestern Law School, just blocks away. Their love story began with a quirky opening on Hinge and a memorable first date in a Japanese alley bar on a frigid February night. Their love story unfolded through shared cocktails, rock-climbing adventures and travels to various cities.
On the July morning of their wedding, Julie and her besties got ready at Nobu Chicago. The suite, with large windows and a sleek monochromatic style, encapsulated Julie’s timeless and chic beauty. Meanwhile, Peter and his guys got ready at the couple’s home, complete with matching robes and all!
Located in Chicago’s West Town, Walden’s century-old industrial building provided the perfect backdrop for Julie and Peter’s celebration. “We wanted a place with its own unique character, yet a space where we could infuse our personality. Walden’s modern, warm environment was the perfect fit,” shares the couple. “From sharing vows on the cozy second floor to dancing the night away downstairs, every detail was magical.” Walden’s full-service event planning, chef-driven cuisine and top-tier bar service made it a unique and seamless choice for the couple.
