Kristina & Kyle Ring in the New Year
Ten beautiful years together led up to the New Year’s Eve wedding of Kristina and Kyle. The couple held a timeless and sophisticated event with a lively dance party. Being on New Year’s Eve, the couple and their guests danced into the new year with fanfare … and confetti!
As for the ceremony, Kristina grew up in the Greek Orthodox faith, so having a traditional Greek Orthodox wedding was important to her. Following the vows, the festivities began at Loft 21, which was the first and only venue they toured, as they immediately knew it was the one. The high ceilings, exposed brick and dramatic loft gave the grand feeling the couple sought.
One memorable twist came with their first dance. Guests celebrated cocktail hour on the venue’s upper level, closed off from views of the reception space below. Towards the end of the cocktail hour, the doors opened and guests were instructed to gather around the balcony. From below, Kristina and Kyle surprised everyone with a first dance on the main floor. Being alone down below while everyone watched from above gave their first dance an intimate feeling.
The rest of the evening was spent dining, drinking and dancing the night away. The Music Trust kept the dance floor packed and HYPE Productions’ floor sparklers were a cherry on top. The celebrations carried on into the night, including a New Year’s countdown celebrating both the start of 2022 and of their marriage.
