Turn of the Century Edwardian Style Wedding Inspiration
There is such an understated elegance in turn of the century style events. When Jamie Elliot McPherson gathered his favorite wedding pros for a styled shoot inspired by his favorite British television drama, it was only fitting that the team met at Lookout Mountain wedding venue Lookout Mountain Fairyland Club. With a breathtaking view of the mountains on the Tennessee Georgia state line, this Tudor-style wedding venue beckons for rich textured linens, grand floral arrangements and glowing candlelight. Ksenia Phillips created a custom invitation suite featuring hand drawn illustrations of the castle-style venue and delicate blooms used in the wedding floral arrangements. Her floral illustrations carried throughout the day, later appearing on the custom three tier wedding cake by Blooming Flour Bakery. Brides and planners looking to channel an edwardian style on their wedding day should look to include classic elements like simple lace dresses, flower crowns atop delicately pinned curly tresses, cascading floral arrangements in natural vessels and formal gilded tableware.
