Sophisticated Wedding at the Atlanta History Center
A combination of Gatsby opulence and woodland tranquility was Erin and Derek’s desire for their wedding at Atlanta wedding venue Atlanta History Center and, with lots of hard work from planner Bianca Walter-Yelder and Amanda Jewel Floral Designs, their vision became a splendid reality. The attire of the wedding party was pure elegance, the bridesmaids in dresses of champagne, the groom and his groomsmen in classic tuxedos. Wearing a breathtaking lace gown and floor-length veil, Erin glowed with excitement as she descended the stairs of the magnificent Swan House to wed her love before their closest family and friends. The couple was soon pronounced husband and wife, and all ventured to the Boxwood Gardens for cocktail hour, dozens of family wedding photos up on display for guests to view as they enjoyed their drinks. The reception at the Grand Overlook Ballroom was all sophistication and grace, tables dressed in ivory tablecloths and decorated with arrangements of roses, hydrangeas and greenery. Cuisine from A Divine Event catered to even the most choosy of palettes, and the heavenly Cuatro Leches wedding cake from Metrotainment Bakery was a meal-concluding delight for all. Young and old alike hit the dance floor to groove to tunes from the Total Package Band before the newlyweds escaped off to their honeymoon.
