From elegant, wistful marshland, to moss-laden branches of ancient oak trees, the landscape of the Low Country is like a scene from a love story, and the perfect backdrop for the Tybee Island wedding of Stacy and Robert. The May affair, coordinated by Raven of Everlasting Occasions, brought guests from all over to watch the couple profess their love beneath the sweeping arches of the Tybee Island Wedding Chapel. Spring colors and southern charm kissed the elegant affair among carefully chosen decor and floral arrangements by Harvey Designs, from chapel to ballroom. Guests enjoyed personal touches scrawled across welcoming chalkboards and mason jars filled with the newlyweds’ signature cocktail. Dinner, prepared by Paul Kennedy Catering, included a buffet of southern delights and Savannah specials like shrimp and parmesan grits, green bean casserole, prime rib and more. The cake was a multi-layered delight with flavors of chocolate, red velvet, and almond vanilla, made with care by Cake it Away . The bride and her groom danced the night away to the tunes of the live The Hollywood Band. Stacy and Robert planned their ceremony on Tybee Island, close to Savannah where they met and fell in love! They love the coast so it was the perfect venue for them!

It’s always such a treat to photograph Stacy and Robert, I’ve been photographing Stacy for various reasons for a few years now so when it was time for her wedding I couldn’t wait to see her! Robert has the sweetest heart and they are just so happy together. By far one of my favorite parts of their wedding day was their first look, having the opportunity to witness such a sweet moment between a couple is such a blessing!
The Tybee Wedding Chapel is a wonderful venue because everything that you could need is right there! The space is well planned out and I loved that guests were able to move from the ceremony to the reception with ease.
