A Sentimental Wedding for Ashley & Nick at Chicago Winery
Held on the cusp of fall and winter, Ashley and Nick celebrated their romantic and intimate wedding at Chicago Winery. After living in Chicago for more than 15 years, they wanted their wedding to reflect the place that helped shape them. Chicago Winery’s warm and inviting ambiance gave them the perfect setting for their celebration.
Ashley and Nick’s love story isn’t one of opposites attracting. Rather, it’s as if the two are cut from the same cloth, both working in design fields and sharing passions and hobbies alike. As with many of the best love stories, their connection grew from the solid base of friendship before blossoming into a romantic relationship.
The moment they experienced Chicago Winery on their venue tours, they were captivated by the idea of an intimate ceremony under the main room’s skylight, surrounded by their loved ones. This concept evolved into an interactive and meaningful ceremony, where their closest family and friends shared heartfelt stories about love, life and marriage. While they also had a small Catholic ceremony on a separate date, this sentimental occasion holds a special place in their hearts.
After their unique ceremony in the round, a candlelit reception unfolded. Bedecked in deep red and aubergine florals, wine flowed and guests couldn’t help but to set the dance floor ablaze.
Ashley and Nick’s intimate affair allowed them to connect with the guests and highlight what’s really important to them. From the impeccable food and drink to the venue’s rich architectural details, their November wedding embodied what true romance feels like.
