A southern springtime shower christened Woodlyne and Chad’s Friday evening nuptials at one of Atlanta’s most iconic historic hotels, Atlanta wedding venue the Biltmore. The bride wore a stunning custom satin Lazaro gown boasting an intricately crystal-beaded bodice, while the groom sported a royal blue tuxedo from The Modern Gent. After processing hand in hand with the couple’s three year old son, the bride met her groom standing alongside his traditional black tuxedo clad groomsmen and her bridesmaids in petal pink gowns. With the help of planner Eliana Baucicault and florist Andy Beach, the ballroom transformed into an elegant reception area thanks to cleverly arranged dining tables and opulent arrangements of hydrangea, garden roses, ranunculus, roses and tulips. The intimate gathering of 80 enjoyed a multi station dinner hour featuring traditional southern fare— a nod to the groom’s upbringing— and Caribbean flavors— a delicious presentation of the bride’s Haitian culture. Woodlyne surprised her groom with a confection shaped as his beloved Fender guitar, in addition to the towering classic tiered wedding cake created by the pastry chefs at For Goodness Cakes. The new Mr. and Mrs. spent the night dancing to a selection of both Haitian and American music, artfully mixed by DJ 6Five.
