Newly opened, The Graceful Ordinary is where past meets present. Refined rustic fare in a sophisticated, timeless setting along the scenic Fox River.

Creating a welcoming space to host private events from weddings to intimate group dinners has been of the utmost importance throughout The Graceful Ordinary’s development. With expansive gathering areas and riverfront views, we serve as the perfect backdrop for all of your special moments.

We are a modern take on the traditional tavern that serves Chef-driven cuisine centered around the kitchen’s wood burning hearth. Executive Chef Chris Curren utilizes his extensive culinary expertise and classic fine-dining techniques to present a new menu of elevated, yet approachable rustic refined tavern fare in the heart of downtown St. Charles.

With 4,700 sq ft of interior space and an additional 2,200 sq ft of waterfront terrace space outside – our venue allows couples to create a customized event that is unique to them!

We are currently reserving dates for riverfront ceremonies, receptions, engagement dinners, dinner rehearsals, showers and bachelor-x parties! I look forward to working with you both on making your event a memorable occasion for you and your guests!
