True Love was Just a Click Away

“James and I met the good old-fashioned way…,” Colleen explains. After a few weeks of conversation, the couple finally met in person. While enjoying some laughs over pizza, Colleen and James clicked. The couple knew right away they had made a special connection. After spending a happy two years together, James proposed at the Grand Geneva Resort.

Eight months “and a flurry of planning” later, the day the bride and groom had dreamed of arrived. Colleen spent the day relaxing and enjoying herself as she got ready with her bridal party. Colleen walked down the aisle on her dad’s arm, and her eyes filled with joyous tears when she saw the gorgeous flowers and lanterns that illuminated her path. Upon seeing James standing at the altar waiting for her, she knew everything was perfect.

Reception tables at the Cress Creek Country Club were decorated with antique books and compotes, matching the vintage look of the bridesmaids’ lace dresses. Elegant flowers “drenched the room in color, while accents of gold and silver added a subtle sparkle to the table settings.” Husband and wife enjoyed dinner at their own sweetheart table “basking in the love and joy” of the day. Guests were treated to hand-painted feathers as place cards and signed a black-and-white quilt in lieu of a guestbook, creating a cherished memento for James and Colleen.

“Our wedding day was like a dream,” Colleen reflects. “Everything that day went so smoothly and every detail I had planned turned out even better than I had envisioned.”
