Wedding Planning is easy when you follow the four easy steps outlined by The Celebration Society. Set your budget, choose your wedding style, find your wedding venue and then hire a reputable wedding vendor team to plan the wedding of your dreams. Following those steps in order will eliminate the stress of wedding planning for you and your groom. And your mom too.

After you’re engaged the excitement of bringing your dream wedding day to life begins! But before you set your sights on wedding gowns, wedding colors and flowers, slow down and start to think about your budget first. We know, why would you want to think about boring (and often depressing) wedding budgets when all you want to do is smell the roses? Because you’ll never know if you can afford those roses if you haven’t determined how much you want to spend on your wedding with your family.

Next comes the fun part: exploring wedding ideas! You can find endless wedding inspiration in bridal magazines, wedding blogs and pinterest that feature styled bridal shoots and real weddings to give you an idea on the most recent wedding trends and visuals to share with your vendors. You’ll find thousands of images added to the internet daily and it can be easy to become overwhelmed. The best way to organize all the ideas is to create several pinterest boards of all the wedding ideas you’ve collected across the internet so you can quickly save as you find them and then go back and narrow down your most favorite ideas to determine your ideal wedding style. (Tip: many bridal publications also share their print stories online so you can pin those too!)

Once you’ve picked your wedding style, now is the time to book your venue. You’ll want to compare wedding locations near you by searching in The Celebration Society Venue Guide. Here you’ll find several venue types like hotels, country clubs, farms, barns and unique settings. Select the venue style that matches the wedding style and theme you’ve selected.

And finally, once you’ve booked your venue, bring all the final pieces of your wedding planning process together by hiring a solid vendor team to orchestrate all the details of the big day for you. You’ll want to secure a professional wedding planner, photographer, florist, caterer (if the venue doesn’t provide one), invitation designer, hair and makeup artist, transportation and DJ.
