Despite the fact that they grew up less than a mile away from each other, Jihane and Adam didn’t meet until Jihane happened to go to a Halloween party at Adam’s apartment. “Adam opened the door and I instantly felt like I knew him,” Jihane said. “After that night, we never looked back.” After two years of dating, the couple knew they wanted to spend their lives together but didn’t feel any rush to get married. When they did decide that the time was right, the couple decided to have an intimate wedding at Spiaggia.
Before their non-denominational ceremony, Adam and Jihane gathered with their parents and siblings to have a ceremonial ring blessing. “Everyone stood around us and took turns holding our rings and saying a few words about love and marriage,” Adam said. “It was quite emotional, and we felt so supported and loved.” Following the blessing, Jihane and Adam tied the knot in front of eighty-five guests with the help of their officiant, Sheri Reda. The couple walked back down the aisle to “Viva la Vida” by Coldplay then took a few moments to compose themselves in private. “It was just the two of us, crying and laughing, high on adrenaline and the fact that we just got married,” Jihane said. “It was incredibly special.”
Before taking to the dance floor with all of their family and friends, the couple got to enjoy their candle-lit reception and the Michelin Star food that Spiaggia is famous for. “One of the main reasons we chose Spiaggia was for the incredible food,” the couple said. “The reception meal was brilliant and the service was just impeccable.”
