Winter Wonderland Theme for Children’s Party

Swept away by the magic of Disney’s Frozen, the team at Petite Seats was inspired to create a shoot that brought all the enchantment of the film to life in the form of a “Frozen Winter Wonderland” children’s party for girls!  The scene was enough to take your breath away.  Whites and ivories mingled with metallics throughout the decor, from shimmering fabrics and signs to floral arrangements of pale hydrangeas, baby’s breath, and frosty branches.  A three-table dessert display presented an array of pretty, wintry sweets, including snow-white cakes, rock candy, and sparkling cookies and cake pops.  Little girls clothed in white tulle dresses sat in child-sized ghost chairs, fluffy angel wings tied to the back of each seat, as they munched on the tasty treats, washing it all down with ice-cold milk from silver bottles.  Filled with winter wonder and girlish giggles, this snow-kissed inspiration was captured by Aida Malik Photography!

COLORS

FLORALS
We used a combination of white hydrangea, baby’s breath, and manzanita branches. The branches added a wintery feel while the baby’s breath and hydrangea softened the overall look of our tablescape.

ITEMS TO INCORPORATE
Our design included an over-the-top tablescape set for 8 and a three table dessert display. We decided having three tables instead of one was more impactful. Having bite sized desserts was also a consideration.

THINGS TO REMEMBER
The theme was best fit for a winter/holiday celebration, so purchase some fabric batting to serve as imitation snow and sprinkle it everywhere.

PERFECT FOR
We designed the shoot for a tot sized soirée. We wanted to design an over-the-top children celebration, perfect for winter birthday babies and holiday parties. Our guests at this celebration where our seven little angels.

WHAT TO WEAR
We ordered custom tulle empire styled dressed for our models. The bodice of the dresses were designed with detailing similar to the hydrangea blooms. We love the Bindi from Indian culture and decided to accessorize each girl with a beaded, pearlized ribbon as a headband.

PRICING
To replicate this party for 8 guests the cost for decor and desserts would be approximately $1500.

TAKE IT UP A NOTCH
We always differentiate our designs and want guests to leave the celebration completely content and surprised by all the little details. To take it up a notch we include personalized touches for the girls. We have personalized Christmas tree ornaments and favor tags as a take home gift. Personalized and custom gifts are the perfect way to say “Thank You.”
