Pink and Orange Surprise 40th Birthday Party

When his beautiful wife Akima’s 40th birthday rolled around last summer, Marc could think of no better way to celebrate than a surprise party among family and friends!  Plans were formed in secret, and with the help of some talented vendors, Marc’s vision for a stylish and vibrant outdoor celebration was brought to life at the Renaissance Hotel Downtown!  Hot pink and orange were the leading colors of the event, being used from the invitations with the sleek “A40H” logo to the satiny linens on the cocktail tables.  Sage green furniture brought a sense of coolness and tranquility to the decor while floral arrangements of spider mums, billy balls, orchids and bamboo poles provided a bright and contemporary twist.   Scrumptious Caribbean foods and desserts were prepared, and in no time at all the birthday girl arrived!  The sight of all her loved ones brought Akima to tears, and she, Marc, and their guests savored a fun evening of laughter and love.  Photos of this fabulous affair are brought to you by Janet Howard Studio!
