1960s Hippie Themed Birthday Party
Pasadena Playhouse board member Sheila and her husband, Mark, are well-known among their social circle for throwing unforgettable parties, and her 1960s themed birthday bash was no exception! The “Woodstock” celebration was truly a trip back in time! Guests wearing vibrant hippie garb arrived at the Playhouse, where they hopped on board a party bus to be entertained by a guitarist and an illusionist while en route to the birthday girl’s home. The destination was reached, and visitors enjoyed colorful cocktails and jello shots before they took a turn at the photo booth featuring an authentic period Volkswagen Beetle! Guests then proceeded to the garden area, where large peace signs, radiant flowers, and furniture with bright, bold patterns gave the space a distinct 60s vibe! Fun activities including henna tattoos, caricatures, face painting and tarot card reading were offered to all. After everyone savored a slice of Debbie’s beautiful birthday cake, the “hippies” jammed and laughed on the dance floor to music from Ron Rubin Events and Evyn Charles. Hurry on over for some groovy fun in the sun with these images by Luminaire Images Photography!
