1920s Speakeasy Themed Retirement Party
To celebrate her husband, Bill “BJ” Cole’s, retirement, Brenda Cole went all out with a 1920s Speakeasy themed event. Bill loves all things vintage, and The Ritz-Carlton, Buckhead did an unbelievable job transforming itself into a speakeasy right out the 1920s. Tony Brewer and Co. provided flowers and decor, orchestrating an environment filled with comfortable lounging on leather sofas and crimson pillows, deep red roses artfully arranged in small glass bowls and tall, classically beautiful centerpieces. Red velvet, black satin, and plenty of feathers were on display, adding to the mood. Lighting from Live Event Solutions really made a difference, creating a dimly lit, smoky looking ambiance entirely appropriate for this underground speakeasy event. Bill’s prized vintage car was on display, and served to set the mood as guests arrived. Several guests donned flapper-style feather boas as they celebrated late into the night. The Ritz-Carlton Buckhead catered the event, as well as provided scrumptious dessert. Photography by Ben Vigil Photographers.
