“We both worked for Raging Buffalo (a Ski and Snowboard Park) in Algonquin IL back in 2013. One morning I was unhooking a trailer and Eric asked if I needed a hand. I will never forget the day I met him as he walked down the stairs in his red ski pants and a cup of coffee in his hand. From then on, I just knew I wanted to get to know him more.
I’m a previous wedding planner and have had my dream wedding planned since the day I was born! I was lucky enough to find a venue that completely mirrored our style: The Silver Fox, an old Masonic Temple full of architecture and history. With its dark hardwood floors, metal plated ceiling, hanging chandeliers, exposed brick walls, gold chavari chairs, black linen and cocktail lounge with a cozy atmosphere, we knew this place would keep our guests talking for a life time.
My favorite memory from my wedding day was not only walking down the aisle as Mrs. Daffron but going up to the 2nd level during dinner and overlooking all our friends and family that were there to support us. We were very lucky to be surrounded by everyone who traveled all the way from California, Michigan and Wisconsin to celebrate with us. My other favorite memory was the look in Eric’s eyes all night as he called me his wife. I am truly the luckiest girl in the world to have him by my side and to start the next chapter in our lives together.”
