A Wedding on the Lake
After saying yes to Douglas’ marriage proposal, Diana soon realized that she didn’t want to wait too long to get married and she didn’t want a winter wedding. So the couple planned their wedding in just three months and ended up being married on a gorgeous October day in Chicago-sunny and 65 degrees. To top it off, they had their reception in the most iconic Chicago spot—on the lake. | | Chicago Resources
CEREMONY In Ruggles Hall at The Newberry Library, Chicago, Diana and Douglas were married in front of 90 family and friends. The room is dramatic with large windows facing Washington Square Park.
