Chris and I met in the fall of 2006. A close mutual friend of ours set us up on a date. Chris is very shy, and hardly spoke directly to me, but kept flirting and making jokes all night. I was definitely the more aggressive one. I would call or text him and try to make plans with him…I even asked him out!

Dan and I met our junior year of high school shortly after he had transferred schools. Over the next couple years we developed a friendship which at times was flirtatious but nothing serious, just friends. Halfway through Dan's freshman year in college he and his girlfriend of four years broke up. I heard about it and called to see if he wanted to go out for a bite to eat, to take his mind off things.
