This story began 16 years ago …when we were in 8th grade and ended up seated next to one another in 3 of our classes. At the age of 13 we found our “first love” in one another. We began dating July 8th, 1996. Everything was new and we shared many first time memories together. In the process we grew up together.

We met in psychology class in medical school on Grand Cayman Island. He says “She ignored me in the beginning” but I say he was the shy guy wearing the Denver Nuggets ball cap in the back row. We were both dating different people so we paid little attention to each other until both of us coincidentally ended the relationships toward the end of the semester. We met up the evening before going home for summer break at the O-bar.
